My commitment in this work is to facilitate and support clients towards self-empowerment and/or healing
I'm an accredited Member of the Irish Association of Alcohol and Addiction Counsellors (IAAAC). I trained in the Addiction Training Institute (Dublin) and then I completed a Diploma in Addiction Studies (with distinction). For many years I worked as an Addiction Therapist at the Open Door Project Athlone - a community based addiction project with Westmeath Community Development before managing the whole project before my retirement. In addition, at the Open Door Project I worked with groups, and facilitated workshops on addiction awareness, relapse education & prevention, personal development and care plan management.
I truly care for all of my clients, and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek on the road to recovery.
